Workouts after giving blood

I made a whole blood donation on Tuesday for the first time. I’ve been busy since then and today was the first day since I’ve been able to get in a hard workout. I attempted a lower body strength and HIIT that did not go well at all, and I’m wondering if I’m still recovering from donating? I know there’s some nurses out there, if you could give me the happity haps and let me know if this is normal, that would be great. Thanks!
