Weekend Check-in: Saturday, November 2nd & Sunday, November 3rd

Well, what is going on my fellow Blenders? Are you smack dab in the middle or ready for the weekend? Ready or not and wherever you are in time, I hope this message finds you mostly content and chock full of weekend plans. Whether it's a good plan or a not so good plan, let us know. Plans can also include a plan not to plan. Or sometimes you just gotta throw away that plan.

For some us this weekend, like over in the US and Canada, there is a plan to travel back in time and squeeze a little more out of the weekend; so don't forget to set your clocks back one hour this Sunday at 2am sharp!! Or you can simply adjust before you go to bed or after you get up in the morning. So many options! ..I'm not a time specialist, so if you're one of those countries that has already traveled back to Standard Time, I hope you are all mostly adjusted to the change by now. Or maybe you don't even change the clocks? Lucky you; just go right ahead and ignore all this required time traveler nonsense.. I'm going to get extra sleep with my hour! Yeah! I'm old enough to be excited about extra sleep, lol.. And then be all messed up with the time change for about a week, lol. Time traveling is not all that fun.

On to other stuff and things, let's get this picture out of the way, shall we? I know you all are on the edge of your screens for me to tell you about this dangling little crimson gem. Literally hanging on by a thread, in focus is the seed from a southern magnolia tree. It's well into Fall now, so the big and beautiful white flowers are long gone and replaced with well developed cones full of seeds. Always the showy performer, this Southern Magnolia tree here is dropping seeds right now like nobody's business!

FYI, it never hurts to be armed with fun facts like with how these magnolia seeds are cardinal red. You can thank me later when you possibly use this useless information as a casual conversational icebreaker.

Useless information is still information. It depends on what word you want to focus on. 😉 ..I happen to enjoy all kinds of information. Wrong information is a little trickier to deal with, but still...

Okay! Let's stay on subject and get to the workouts! Let's hear it for all the sweating and resting, possibly accompanied by the occasional swearing and snoring that can sometimes go with respective activities. Fancy some stretching or light movement? Thumbs up! It's all good as long as some level of that movement or rest feels downright delicious.

No, I'm not at the food part yet. I'm moving slowly and making sure I do this check-in with proper form.

My lower body is disowning me right now. Like, it is giving me the silent treatment. I have to apologize to it in the form of extra stretching and I should be good and ready by Monday. Because on Monday we start the FB Throwback Community Challenge!! If you don't know what that's all about, check out all the deets in this linky here: https://www.fitnessblender.com/community/discussion/15450/daily-check-in-tuesday-october-29th-and-the-winning-schedule-for-the-fb-throwback-challenge-is

^Feel free to join or modify how you see fit! The more the merrier I say! It's all meant to be fun for the whole FB Family!

..Now let's finally open those fridges and cabinets or maybe a quick trip to the store and figure out what is goin' on in the kitchon. Quite simply put: What are you eating this weekend? Leftovers and whatever I can scramble together sound good to me. Sometimes weekends get really busy and I don't eat or hydrate as much as I should.. So, a reminder for myself and to you guys; Eat and stay hydrated this weekend! And let me know what you guys are eating and drinking!

Well now we have arrived to the last paragraph. The part where I impart to you all in every sense that you have a lovely weekend; just not the loveliest weekend, because then it gets harder to top the weekend after that if you go ahead and end up having the best weekend every weekend, savvy?^^ ..Gotta keep everything in moderation; even the weekends. And if you're not in the lovely weekend camp, then take a cue from this little seed and just hang on. :)
