Daily Check-in: Wednesday, October 30th

Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening Blenders!

How're you all doin today? How's your last little taste of October treatin ya (or trickin ya, perhaps? haha)? Hard to believe we're on our second to last day of October already!

But it's also a good thing: caz that means tomorrow's Halloween! So it's not all bad!

Beings it's so late in the season though, the pretty Fall leaves are just about done now. This pic is one of the last maples still hangin on to it's lovely golden color.

Ok, so let's get this show on the road, and talk about some workouts, shall we?

How about it Blenders? Is it a workout day, or rest day for you?

It's Wednesday: so that means it's Core Day! Whoo hoo! It's sort of weird to be celebrating that--but I've really changed my tune with abs workouts lately. They've been quite enjoyable, honestly. It's a great way to not only strengthen your core, of course, but to get a workout in that's easier on the joints too---makes for a nice break from the impact during the week. So today I plan on doing this warm up:

Seems like a lot, but honestly, when there's a lot of floorwork coupled with stretching/flexibility work, I don't mind one bit.

And of course, even with lower impact/floorwork routines, we still gotta eat some real food to replenish our energy stores! (Never, ever skip this part! Food is yummy, nutritious, and a vital part of being overall healthy and well!)

So today, I wanna make a casserole or hot dish of some kind. Something throw-together, bake-quick-in-the-oven, and warm-up-the-house style. Still debating on what though. Chicken and broccoli? Buffalo chili and cornbread? Squash and wild rice? Imma have to say yes to all! haha.
