Big changes take time and consistency...

Fitness Blender Family!

This goes for so many things in life, but when it comes to fitness, big changes take time and consistency.

If one of your fitness goals is to lose weight, for example, it is so important to remember that there are no "quick fixes" for real weight or fat loss. Understanding that it will take time and consistency, setting small, realistic goals is key (e.g. aiming for a drop of 2-3 lbs, or around 1 kg, a week maximum).

By breaking down large goals into smaller, more attainable goals, reaching those incremental goals will serve as motivation to keep pushing yourself to your larger goals. Of course, it’s also important to remember that fitness looks different on everyone, and each of our bodies respond to exercise in a different way. Don’t compare yourself to others!

Bottom line, there’s no need to turn to crazy diets or shortcuts for results. You need to find a lifestyle and diet that works for you, long-term. If you cannot stay consistent (remember, it’s a marathon, not a sprint), then you likely won’t be able to maintain your fitness gains.

So, what are your fitness goals? Any fitness plans this weekend?

We’d love to hear from you!
