Dragging, but I made it

It was a real struggle to get moving this morning -- today is my first work day back after holidays and I'm not looking forward to it, plus with the season changing the mornings are getting very dark and my body just wants to stay in bed.

I tried out all kinds of excuses for why I didn't actually have to exercise this morning, but in the end I pushed through and showed up and got my workout complete.

I don't feel as euphoric as yesterday, but you know what? Comparing how I felt before exercising with how I feel after, it's no contest. I still feel worlds better after.

Good luck to anyone trying to find the right mindset to show up, whether for exercise, work, family, or anything else. It can be done, and it's better on the other side!
