Saturday ramblings

There's a lot to say!

1) I've been video taping myself to check my form and keep improving. While watching yesterday's video I noticed a weird mark on the side of my ankle. Like behind the bump and moving up... Then I realized fool! That's a shadow! You have a muscle! And sometimes when I jump a certain way I see some awesome calves! I want to almost workout in a bathing suit to see more muscles 😆

2) squat to lunge makes me cry and my form was terrible. My new goal is to get strong enough to do those with weights (even if it's just 3lb weights). Those are the devil!

3) my 10 year old will sometimes work out with me. He keeps wanting to use weights. I tell him I won't let him use the weights until he has good form. The other day I let him use my 5 lb weight (he's been throwing around how he can pick up my 12lb weight so he's super strong). He did 3 overhead presses and had to drop them. Lesson learned buddy. It's ok to start small and work your way up. You've got nothing to prove to anyone!
