Does your body type really matter??

So I have an apple shaped body, so I tend to gain 90% of the weight in my waist and back unfortunately. I have been training with FB and have seen significant results, I am sure I would answer my own question if I have been consistent enough, but as most of you might have already read it somewhere that there are different nutrition and workout tips for all kind of body shapes.

Do you think it really matters? I love FB workout programs and would never go for anything else, but I would love to hear your opinions and if I am lucky enough Kelli & Daniel might have something to say about it :D
