FB Sweat Day 19 Workout Complete and NSV

I just finished FB Sweat Day 19 and am feeling great.

I usually ride my bike to my college campus (about 3 miles each way) and most of the ride is really flat, except for one hill right at the end getting to campus. So of course it's an easy ride, but then right when I arrive I always get a little out of breath because of the hill. Well, I was meeting some friends on campus for lunch today and I realized that I still needed to breathe a bit harder going up the hill, but my recovery time was much shorter and very soon I was feeling back to normal. Could this be because of all the HIIT in FB Sweat? If so I would count that as a fantastic bonus non-scale victory because it made me feel really great that I didn't have to show up to lunch huffing and puffing.
