The importance of activity

Hello! So I don't really post much on here, but there's just something I gotta share with everybody.

So I work at an Assisted Living facility, I work with the elderly, and anyways one of our residents is 101 years old. She's the most spry, funny, capable resident we have- and the oldest!

I was talking to her one day about aging, and I asked her what her secret was, and she told me her secret to aging gracefully is walking! Physical activity. She walked everyday, she exercised when she was younger, and she made it to 101 and she is not slowing down!

I thought that was so cool and personally so motivating to me at age 24 to really do things now so I can do more things with more life! Just wanted to share this with everybody, in case yer ever wondering if it's really worth it. Even if yer not getting the results you expected, physical activity is SO important for not only yer body but yer mind. Remember a body at rest tends to stay at rest, a body in motion tends to stay in motion!!
