Gaining weight- a little disheartened!

So I’m new to FB - am three weeks in to Low Impact - and loving it. I’ve stuck to it properly which for someone who hasn’t exercised, apart from weekly yoga, since the birth of my youngest about three years ago is a miracle for me. I’ve also cut my calories to 1250 a day and apart from two blip days haven’t cheated at all. But I’ve gained 2.5 lbs! 😭 I’m aiming to lose at least 14 lbs -hopefully more- so this seems like such a blow.

Is low impact just not enough to lose weight? What should I try next? What am I doing wrong? I’m determined not to give up as I love the exercises and am proud of myself for sticking to it so far but I don’t feel like I’m achieving anything. Help!
