Taking a Break

I was supposed to do a lower body hiit and strength workout today, but you know what? I’m just tired, and I really don’t have it in me. I realized that the last couple of weeks I have not been looking forward to my workouts (highly unusual for me!), and it’s been all I could do to finish a workout, even ones of moderate intensity. Despite fueling my body really well, and getting decent sleep, I’m just worn out, irritable, etc. So I’m taking a week off just to rest. I’m finally learning that knowing when to ease up is just as important as knowing when to push a little harder! 👊🏼
