Replaced week 2 Blend (rescheduled) with Alpine hiking!

Completed Blend week 1, but then have gone on holiday to the French Alps (from the UK)! My husband does downhill mountain biking, quite seriously, but we both hike, so today was the first day and we did a little hike! The steep parts really had us huffing and puffing but I could not believe the difference in my stamina from a year ago. With every step I took I heard the works of K&D...."form over speed", "deep breaths to catch your breath" etc....and I really was fine!! We're doing much longer and steeper hikes later in the trip so I'm glad this one was a warm up. Tomorrow I'll do some Fitness Blender from our Airbnb place as it's a mountain bike day for my other half.

Thanks FB for making me LOVE being active and being strong enough for it!!

P.s. it's unbelievable how much lunging I did today....the programmes FB do have helped me prepare!!
