All or Nothing?

When it comes to exercise and nutrition, there is no one, single approach that works best for everyone. It may seem daunting at first, but you may well need a trial-and-error approach to find what works best for you. There is absolutely no shame in this.

Don’t be afraid to try; don’t be afraid to try again. Don’t be afraid to try something new. And then again. You’ve heard us say this before, but adapting your approach doesn’t make you a “failure” — it makes you resourceful and resilient.

Our underlying advice is always to do what you can, try to do better today than you did yesterday, and realize that healthy living is something that we should be doing for the rest of our lives. Don’t be discouraged if there is a blip (we all have plenty of those, right?), just get back into it whenever you can, however you can, for as long as you can.

And, please, please do not let an “all or nothing” mentality keep you from doing what you can today to be healthy. If you’ve only got the time or energy for 10 minutes of exercise today — take it, and get your #workoutcomplete in!
