Daily Check-in: Tuesday, August 6th

Hello Blenders!

How're you all doing today?

Feeling good? Did you have a good Monday?

I actually had a much better Monday, than last week, for sure! (No hot oil burns, for the win! haha) It was a busy day, but a good one! We did have a few thunderstorms roll through in the evening, but they weren't as bad as they could've been. So overall, I'm not complainin one bit!

I've also got a three-for-one random bird photo(s) today! (I'll put the other two in the comments below⬇️⬇️.) So what we've got here is is a female Mourning Warbler (I think). She just caught a bug to feed to her two little ones who were in the grass nearby! AAAAHHH I'm so excited I got to see baby warblers! They are soo bitty! Very happy to get some photos too--so I hope you don't mind the barrage of pictures today!

Alright, now let's get back on task and talk about some workouts for today!

So how about it, Blenders? Is it a workout day, or rest day for you?

Yesterday, I didn't have enough time to do the lower body workout I originally wanted to do (this one: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/strength-hiit-and-pilates-workout-for-a-bigger-butt-and-strong-legs-lower-body-burnout) so I ended up doing this one instead: https://www.fitnessblender.com/videos/hiit-cardio-and-butt-and-thigh-workout-hiit-and-strength . The 10 minute difference allowed me to still get in a workout yesterday, and let me tell ya, this one always delivers! My glutes are talking to me today! (Just don't talk back to them. You might get some weird looks if you start talking to your glutes. But then again, if that's your thing, don't let me stop you. You do you.😂)

So that means, it's a great day for some upper body and core work!

That sounds like a good workout day to me! Gotta love strength training and abs using a physioball!

We're gonna have turkey burgers and sweet potato fries!! So.much.yum. I can't wait--add in some roasted broccoli too just for some green, and yeah, it should totally be dinner time already.
