Binge eating, mental health and motivation

I've noticed that there's a strong correlation between my mental health and my desire to be physically fit. I suffer from recurring depression and yesterday was NOT a good day. I definitely had a semi-binge and, although i'm in a slightly better today, I can still hear the negative self talk that's in my mind from slipping.

I was wondering if other people on fb occasionally suffer from bouts of negative self-talk and if you could share some of things you do to counter act that negative self talk... at least enough to get you temporarily going until your mind gets out of that sea of darkness.
