Daily Check-in: Tuesday, July 30th

Hello Blenders!

(How is it almost August already?!?!)

How're you all doing today? Did you survive your Monday in one piece?

I gotta say, my Monday was the Monday-est Monday to ever Monday. Geez. I think my brain got up and walked out on me yesterday. Seemed like everything I did, I messed it up somehow. So I ended up giving myself a hot oil burn on my wrist, about caught an oven mitt on fire (it's pretty charred now haha), and almost burned up a whole pan of sesame seeds (did you know they smoke quite bit? Well, I do now!). Pretty sure I'm banned from the kitchen now.

But anywho, hopefully my brain decided it wants to stay and be somewhat functional today!

Oh here's another pic for you! This is a Common Wood-Nymph, and isn't he grand? Look at those eyes on his wings! And if you look closely at the inner portion of his top wing, you can see a multitude of colors there! Beautiful little guy!

I also want to say thank you all for your thoughts and condolences regarding Christina Egguilera yesterday. It means a lot, so thank you.

Alright, now, let's talk a bit about workouts!

What workouts do you have scheduled for today Blenders? Or perhaps it's a rest day for you?

It's been awhile since I've done this one, but it's definitely a fave! Lookin forward to it today!

And how about some good food goin on today? What's on your menus, Blenders?

Well, even though I about messed up everything in the kitchen yesterday, I did manage to get a bunch of beef cheeks cooked! haha. I braised them so we could have them throughout the week to eat. So I think we'll make French dip sandwiches with them tonight! A bit of the beef cheeks, mushrooms, peppers, onions, and Gouda cheese (caz that's what I like! haha), all on a delicious sandwich with au jus to dip it in? Holy cow, does that sound good! I will probably let Hubby handle heating that up tonight though! haha
