Not a fan of cardio but want to do it/like it

Ok so I don’t like cardio (more into strength training), but I know it is good to do and I still do it, but I just don’t like it. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on new things I could try? Currently I use the treadmill/elliptical at the gym for about 20 minutes because it gets my heart rate up really fast and high (please correct me if I’m wrong about having a high heart rate just assumed it is good when doing cardio) and it wears me out, but like all cardio I don’t like it. Most cardio things don’t get my heart rate up that high. I don’t know if I’m not pushing myself hard enough or what. So if anyone has the same struggle or has any ideas please let me know.
