Thighs getting bigger

Hi All, I hope your enjoying your weekend.

So I have been using FB for a year this month wooohoo! Although I feel healthier I have noticed that my thighs have got bigger, I think this is muscle but would like to maybe lose an inch.

I'm thinking to mix up my routine and use lower weights during lower body strength training rather than complety stop then and maybe swap one Lower body strength for pilates a week. Has anyone got any experience on if this will make my thights smaller?

My routine is usually 2x HIIT and Lower strengh training a week and 2x Upper with core
