If I was ever asked to choose between cardio and strength, I would ALWAYS choose cardio! I love running, biking, HIIT, cardio kickboxing, and basically any other type of cardio video on fitness blender, My imagination keeps me busy during those long runs, HIIT goes by too fast to get boring, and kickboxing requires so much focus on co-ordination that it keeps my mind occupied.
Whenever I do strength training videos with TONS of reps for each exercise (especially LOWER BODY! I don't mind upper body too much), I always get bored. I usually manage to push through them, but they demotivate me so much and make me dread working out. I know how important it is, and I do want to build my muscle strength. Any ideas?
