Little progress!

Hello fb family! Hope everyone is crushing their workout complete!

I am going slowly but steadily. It took 2 weeks to finish week 1 of Strong. I am not able to push much as I am getting irritation in the surgery wound. But there is progress, both mentally and physically. Specially my mindset is now much more positive. I indeed look forward to exercise even if it’s just 2 days/week.

Today I had day 8 of Strong scheduled, lower body strength. But in the morning after couple of ultrasound and blood tests, the nurse suggested me to take day off from lifting heavy. I was sad to let go the day, but then I was like, “hey, there are plenty of no equipment lower body fb videos”! So I swapped my scheduled strength training for these two videos.

It was soooo good! I even managed to go for high impact for some of the exercises. I am glad I didn’t give up today, and that’s a progress! Now looking forward to continue slowly with care. Also will get some updates/opinion from my doc next week. Keeping my fingers crossed for some good feedback from the tests!
