Help w/ Meal Planning with Little Time

So my wife and have set a pretty good challenge for ourselves. We are two hard working professionals with two amazing little girls (5 & 3), who keep us going until we are ready to drop. Our goal is to each lose 5lbs a month. We are both loving the workouts but having troubles getting the proper snack and meals ready. What is everyone doing when they plan their healthy beneficial snacks each day and planning their major meals?
