How many days per week should I be working out?

I'm 21 and I'm more or less active. My goal would be to workout at least 5-6 days a week with FB, but I never seem to get more than 2-3 days of workouts a week. I'm struggling with motivation and getting into a more structured workout routine since I've had a lot of changes in my life lately. Now that I'm more or less adjusted in general, I would like to get back on track and stay back on track with my fitness. Any tips or advice?
