I know you can' t really help me with this but maybe I just need to hear that I'm not the only one ... I had to put my cat to sleep last week. Luna was 19 and she didn't suffer. But the point is that it seems so weird to start all the normal things you did before knowing it's the first time without her. Like coming home from work and no one is there, going food shopping and no one is curious what's in your bags. All these "first-time-without-moments" are hard. Most of them I did of course but not exercising ... sitting on the floor, huffing, puffing and sweating and no one is presenting a fluffy belly to lure me back on the couch. Probably today evening the time has come to start that again too. I know I'm a crazy cat lady and maybe I'm a bit too emotional here, but it was 19 years ... and I miss the fluffy belly.
