I do have trouble thinking of meals that are "Australian cuisine", because really we just eat everyone else's! But there's always meat pies and pavlova.
The meat pies were really beef, tomato and mushroom pot pies with veggies. You know it's not a real meat pie when the kids eat the veggies and leave the pie! But my husband and I gave them a tick.
The pavlovas were individual berry and yoghurt pavlovas. I've never made pavlova before (generally just buy one and top), so I was pretty happy when they turned out absolutely perfect.
