Super interesting (though not new) article on afterburn. 💪🔥


Being the total geek that I am, I love to read on stuff and fitness especially. In my constant quest for geeky fitness articles, I found this one which explains the impact of afterburn (EPOC). I found it incredibly motivating for those days of HIIT, when you're just not feelin' it. So for 5 miles of running, for example, you would get and extra 2 miles from EPOC! Thought I'd share:) 35% of calories - that is a whopper! wootwoot
