Calorie counting

Hi FB family!

Recently I started to count calories so that I would have an idea of how much I eat during the day( I'm trying to get rid of some extra weight). The app that I'm using has a feature where you can put how many calories you burned while working out. Since I'm never sure about that, I just take the amount that Daniel and Kelli put for the workouts and average that. After I put it in the app, it adds those calories to my "food" calories. So instead of eating 1200 a day, it would say that I need to eat 1350 a day. My question is, do I add those calories that I burned or just stick to 1200 calories?

I hope that made sense.
