Take it outside!

I love fitness blender and I really enjoy my workouts. But I've been in a bit of a slump lately. normally I work out 5 days a week for 8 to 10 weeks straight with no problem but even after an extended rest last month I have been dragging the last couple weeks. The last couple weeks completing four workouts felt like an act of Congress.

Today I decided to take it outside. It was an impromptu thing, I did not plan to do it. I moved the barbecue grill off of the patio and set up my computer and PowerBlocks outside. I completed fit round 2 day 33. I feel so much better even though I was just in my backyard just getting out of the house. Lying on a mat doing upper-body exercises and looking up at the sky watching the clouds roll by and birds fly was a different type of rejuvenating. Even hearing the dogs bark was nice. I have to spend a lot of time indoors but I resolve to make it a point to get outside when I can.
