Oof! Still sore after two days with only three moves for the lower body.

Hello FB Family! What's the highest weight you've safely lifted in any squat variation lately?

On Friday I got fueled up, turned on some stereotypical macho montage workout music, and loaded up for a fairly simple but intense workout. Loading up forty pounds on a dumbbell because I didn't feel up to fifty that day, I went for intensity and duration.

Four sets of 12 reps for goblet squats, and the same for Bulgarian split squats. Between those primary sets, I did sixty second of core related exercise followed by one minute of rest. After that I dropped the weight down to 30's for a quick three rounds of hammer curls and tricep extensions just to get a quick second arm workout in this week.

Right now it's 12:40 AM on Sunday, I'm singing along like a dork to If He Should Break Your Heart - because Journey is awesome - and my butt and quads still hurt!
