How to workout with disc bulging problem?

Background:

I Hope all everyone else could workout unlike me. I had a back pain problem in July 2018 and it went undiagnosed until December 2018. During that period i did abs workout no or just few HIIT the pain was minimal but it was there. I read through the posts and workout on my abs to support/brace the lower back. After December, I stopped working out for 2 months and pain kind of disappeared. I was terribly missing out my fitness and was really low when in March I started working out again with minimal weights and no deadlifts because that was the root of my injury. I also took chiropractic sessions. Now since a few days, I am experiencing the pain again. I don't want to stop working out. I am gaining weight which destroyed all my efforts in past years.

Questions:

My question is how much should i wait before i start my routine again. Are there people who had this problem and after they were treated they started to workout with FB, if yes please help me out.
