Thoughts on skippin rest days?

Happy Monday everyone!

So yesterday I finished week one of the Low Impact program and this morning I did the optional stretch. In the plan it says not to do any other workout today and tomorrow but I´m kinda scared I will lose momentum if I do that :/

I know rest days are important to repair the muscles and actually make them grow but I´m also not feeling too sore today to not do something. I will definitely get my steps in today because I guess walking never harms.

What are your thoughts on this, do you work out everyday, stick to plan?
