I was in Glasgow today watching the Red Bull Neptune Steps (400 meter swim in murky canal water climbing over 7 locks, water pouring down while you are climbing up, water temp 7 degrees). My son and a friend of ours were doing this.... They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the whole event. It looks fun, but sooooo cold.
“Problem” is: once I had said it looks fun, both of them as well as my husband started convincing me.... “Go on, you can do it” “Just go for it”.... well, I must say the thought is now niggling just a little bit 🤣
Am I going to let myself be challenged? One part of me is like: nah, don’t! You will just get stressed out over it. Another part of me is saying: well, why not? It did look fun....
Am I going to rise to this challenge in 2020?!?!
