A Body Positive Reminder..

Just wanted to share with you guys a little tip I use to improve my body image on days when I'm not feeling so great about myself. When I'm having a body positive day (like today), I make it a point to pause and thank my body for all it can do. I thank my legs for pedaling me to work this morning and completing all those jumping lunges after work. I thank my arms for lifting weights, doing push ups and holding doors. I thank my core for keeping my posture. I like to think through all these positive thoughts while stretching.

Then when you have a bad day and you're feeling bloated or otherwise negative, remember all those positive thoughts you told yourself before. They're still true. You still have strong legs and powerful arms and a rockin' core. Use those affirmations to bring yourself back to reality: you are AWESOME.
