Conservation work cancelled.... battling the storm on the beach instead!
Storm “Freya” and thus high winds meant that our conservation work was cancelled this morning. With the rain and the wind I was actually quite pleased not to have to be out there all day. When the rain stopped for a while we decided to go for a walk, 4k only, but with the wind against on the beach, it turned out to be a nice workout! And the waves were pretty amazing!!!!
Rest of the afternoon was spent indoors reading my book.....with the storm increasing in strength, our sash windows were rattling away, making me feel lovely and cosy inside!
