Erse, you really saved my behind on Valentine's Day yesterday by providing your Chocolate Truffle recipe!
I'll admit, I changed it up a bit (I'm sorry Erse. I didn't have time to run to the store so I used what I had on hand).
That meant swapping the ricotta for a bit of heavy cream and Extra Stout Guinness (because why not?), upping the total dark chocolate amount used, and I left out the powdered sugar and cocoa powder.
I then dipped them in melted white chocolate, and topped with Valentine's Day sprinkles, just because I could.
My hubby was very happy with these (even though I made a mess of them haha), and wants me to make them again!
I want to try them with ricotta next time because I think that would be an amazing flavor! And maybe with a bit of coffee too? Or even a Mexican hot chocolate flavor, with a bit of cinnamon and chili powder?
The possibilities are endless!
