4 hours of abs workout... oh and upper body and lower body?!?!?

Super day today: woodland management on “our” island! A whole day of being outdoors with the only noise around the wind in the trees and the waves crashing on the beach..... what more can you want?!

We started with a tough cycle ride, one which usually takes us about 25 minutes, now taking more like 40 minutes as the wind was so strong against us.

On the island we were asked to clear bracken, so I was raking bracken a lot of the time as well as picking it up. All the time: “keeping core engaged” and “keeping a flat back”!!! Picking up the bracken and throwing it on the fire and later on in a wheelbarrow and wheeling that around meant a good total body workout complete!!!

I rewarded myself with a nice bath, a nice stretch, the optional day 6 of the Kettlebell Challenge, and...a nice piece of mango passion fruit cheesecake as an afters! Well deserved, I reckon.
