Healthy Eating Challenge - Day 20

Hello FB Family!

Early post today because it's now or never :) Quick update about yesterday: I did overeat at snack time, but I managed not to eat more than my TDEE, so it was #HealthyDayComplete! Right now I'm eating at a deficit and following a meal plan by a great nutritionist, so yes, I could have done better yesterday. BUT, I still call it a victory that I stayed within my TDEE. Again, like I said in my other post, the credit's all yours :D

Today will be amazing, food-wise. Bread will be ready to bake in an hour and my mother's made her "Sunday Special", carne al sugo. That's basically chopped beef sautèed with onions, carrots and celery, a bit of red wine, oregano and black pepper, then covered with tomato sauce and homemade tomato paste, and left to stew for hours (the more the better!). Tomato sauce made like this (sugo) is great with fresh egg pasta. We eat the beef after the pasta course, and it's so tender it melts in your mouth *.*
