Not feeling sore or building muscle

Hey, hope everyone's doing well.

Lately during my strength workouts I feel like I'm pushing it. I feel like I'm working until I can't , and lifting as much as I can (with proper form). So why am I not sore the next day?? Maybe I'm just one of those crazy people who likes being sore, but to me soreness is an indication of muscle growth. I'm worried if I'm not sore then I'm not gaining muscle. Does anyone have any suggestions?
