Today was our last day of skiing. The day started off cloudy, but ended with a nice bit of sunshine. We did a lot of practising again today, trying out all the advice our “ski instructor” had given us.
Yesterday was a pretty bad day, as the pistes were covered by a layer of fresh snow, which means it gets kicked up pretty badly quickly and makes for rough terrain, very tiring on the legs. So I wasn’t doing too well at all, losing my confidence and getting very frustrated.
Inspite of yesterday’s frustration, we must have achieved something, because today all confidence returned! The video we sent our son of our run down a red slope was actually met with compliments!!!!
At some point I just had to stop to take this picture: the sunshine on these icicles was just toooo beautiful....
