Told not to workout in morning ??

I was told by a trainer that you should wait about an hour upon rising from being in bed all night (in prone position) due to the discs in your spine plumping up from rehydration and that after rising you should wait for about an hour before doing any type of exercise, including even yoga. I wondered if anyone else has heard of this and if anyone can find science based evidence to support this. I cannot find any information to this effect. I did ask a chiropractor this question and he said it is true that the discs do plump back up and get rehydrated when sleeping, then dissipate as the day goes on. Thanks for any insite!
