How much grams of sugar should you eat every day and not get fat while you workout

I always wonder how much grams of sugar can you eat each day. So one day i searched online and i found out that women's can eat 25 grams of sugar and men's can eat 37.5 grams of sugar and so then i ate nature valley granola bars which had 11 grams total but sense there are two bars in the pack one bar is 6 grams sugar but i eat both of them ha cause they are so good and then i try not to eat anything else that has sugar in it. I fear that i don't want to go over board 25 grams of sugar and ruin my workout progress. Sometimes when i crave sugar I drink water and then i eat carrots or apples with dark chocolate but for some reason i can't stop my sugar cravings so how would i stop it. I wanted to discuss this topic with you guys because you guys are all adults/ have more experience in nutrition then a teen does and i wanted to know/hear your guys advice on what you think about my topic
