Just weight training??!

Hi everyone! Because of coronavirus, I am unable to go to the gym (like a lot of us) which means I am having to work out at home. However, people live below me and I have to exercise during the morning before work. So this makes it a lot harder for me to do cardio. Is it okay to just do weight training to lose weight when you are unable to do cardio? Is it still effective? TIA :)
