The Peach Banana Strawberry Smoothie is creamy, mildly sweet, and just a tad bit tangy on the tongue. It is low in calories and sodium (see complete nutrition analysis below) and high in many vital dietary essentials.

Peaches, strawberries and bananas are all superfoods in their own right. They are all three high in fiber and in flavor, which is exactly what you should look for in food choices when you are trying to lose or maintain weight. The yogurt base that makes this blend so smooth and desert-like is even a superstar in the world of nutrition.

What this drink offers for your health
• Bananas are high in potassium, vitamin b6, manganese, and carbohydrate, for energy.
• Strawberries are a great source of cancer fighting antioxidants, and are especially high in vitamin c, Iron, and Folate.

Plain yogurt is low in sugar, and free of additives. Ingredients
½ Cup Plain Yogurt
1 Cup Frozen Strawberries
½ Banana
½ Peach
¼ Cup Milk
1 Tsp All Natural, Pure Honey
½ Tsp Vanilla Extract
Cinnamon; optional

How to make the it
Add the milk to the blender, along with the yogurt and the half of the banana. Blend until smooth. Add the honey and vanilla extract (and cinnamon, if you so choose), and then briefly blend again until thoroughly mixed. Toss in the frozen strawberries and peach and mix one last time.

Makes one large smoothie.

If you want your smoothie to be less thick, you can always add more milk or let your strawberries defrost beforehand. You can also make the drink even thicker by slicing the bananas or peaches and letting them freeze before blending everything together.
