Overview

- Did you use one of our programs or put together your own using our videos?
I first used the Fitness Blender 10 minute abs workout & got hooked! It was after that I bought an 8 week fat loss program, the results were amazing so I've done plans 1 to 5 and have almost finished 5!



- How long did it take you to reach the point where you’re at now (when did you start?) 
I started working out on and off from 2011 to December 2013, I had no idea what I was doing. 
It made me feel down and I kept losing motivation. 
It was January 2014 I found Fitness Blender, my mindset completely changed. I'm always motivated and look forward to my workout every day! It has taken me 10 months to reach the point I'm at now. I've lost 10 kgs, gained so much strength over the course of one year. I'm now building muscle and couldn't be happier!

- What made you decide to start working out?
From 2009 to 2011 I suffered with an anxiety disorder and constant panic attacks, I was on medication for it.
I've been sick most of my life, in & out of emergency rooms, weak immune system, Asthma attacks, constant migraines, diagnosed with Urticaria. I was very depressed and had very low self esteem, I was unable to hold my head up as I had gained a lot of weight 
due to bullying. I had no appetite and lost a lot of weight by not eating or eating once a day.

Last year I gained 10 kgs and decided I needed to make a change. That's when I found Fitness Blender and it changed my life. No other routines worked. Fitness Blender is different, it made me feel so happy & safe. The best part is the routines work! My boyfriend has recently started working out with me and it's fantastic. I talk about Fitness Blender so much & encourage everyone to try it, to the point where people in the past have thought I worked for you!

- Do you have any favorite Fitness Blender workouts?
They're all so great, I can't pick! But Cardio kickboxing & HIIT are definitely favourites of mine.

- Favorite Fitness Blender Program (if applicable)?
That's a hard one, they're all too good!

- Hardest Fitness Blender workout you’ve tried
Definitely the 1000 Calorie workouts, they're so hard but very incredible.

- Average difficult of FB workouts you do (out of the 1-5 scale)
3 to 5

- What’s your favorite training style?
Tabata & HIIT are favourites of mine. But I love strength training, can't get enough of it!

- How many days a week do you exercise, length of workouts on average?
I workout every day. I love it so much I have to force myself to take rest days.

- Favorite healthy snack or meal?
Anything full of fruits and vegetables!

- Best tip that you would give to someone just starting to workout
Don't be afraid, I know it may look very intimidating at times but once you start you'll never want to stop!
It will change your life and you will never regret doing a workout.
If I did it alone all year in the tiny space of my bedroom with limited money for food, you can do it too!

- Something that you have gained from committing to healthy eating and exercise?
I've gained so much over this year. Not just when it comes to appearance. 
I am fitter, healthier and no longer have panic attacks, depression or anxiety.
I don't have asthma and I don't get sick anymore. I feel happier when I look in the mirror, people have told me I inspire them and considering I'm only 20 and it really touches my heart. I have a lot more confidence to get out there and do what I've always wanted to do! Which is to help people. I have realized that I want to be a Nutritionist some day.

- Something that you can do now that you couldn’t do before (a stretch, increased weight lifted, running a mile, etc, etc)
If I were to write everything I'd end up writing a book! haha, no but in all seriousness.
I've become more flexible definitely, I can touch my toes, do a backbend pushup, do regular pushups! I can now run a mile in just under 5 minutes. I can run around with my niece and nephew without needing to stop and catch my breath. I've gone from being able to lift 3kg, to 4kg and Now I'm able to lift 5kg to 6kg as well as 10kgs for deadlifts. I never thought anything would ever work for me and that I would be stuck forever. Never thought I'd have a before & after shot.  I've gained more than I could ever really put into words. I'm finally healthy for the first time in my life, I'll never stop sharing your website with the world and I can't thank you both enough for the amazing work you do.
